## Getting started

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is Stocksy?">
    Stocksy is a Shopify app that collects waitlist subscribers and emails them when a product is back in stock, a price drops, or a coming-soon product launches. You manage everything from the Stocksy app in Shopify admin. No coding is required.

    See [What is Stocksy?](/get-started/introduction).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I install and set up Stocksy?">
    1. Install **Stocksy: Back in Stock** from the Shopify App Store.
    2. Enable the **App Embed** in your theme editor.
    3. Configure a widget and customize email templates.
    4. Submit a test subscription, then send a test notification.

    Follow the full [Quick start guide](/get-started/quick-start-guide).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why is the widget not showing on my storefront?">
    Check these in order:

    1. The Home dashboard shows **Stocksy App Embed is active**.

    3. You clicked **Add to theme** and saved in the theme editor.
    4. For Back in stock, the product is out of stock.
    5. For Coming soon, the product is on the Coming soon products list and inventory is **0**.

    If App Embed is off, shoppers cannot subscribe even if widgets and emails are configured.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Stocksy work with my Shopify theme?">
    Stocksy uses a theme App Embed, so it works with Online Store 2.0 themes that support app embeds. After you enable the embed and add the widget to the theme, save your theme and check a product page.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need to edit theme code?">
    No. Enable the App Embed, then use **Add to theme** and **Customize** in the Stocksy app.
