Getting started

Stocksy is a Shopify app that collects waitlist subscribers and emails them when a product is back in stock, a price drops, or a coming-soon product launches. You manage everything from the Stocksy app in Shopify admin. No coding is required.See What is Stocksy?.
  1. Install Stocksy: Back in Stock from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Enable the App Embed in your theme editor.
  3. Configure a widget and customize email templates.
  4. Submit a test subscription, then send a test notification.
Follow the full Quick start guide.
Check these in order:
  1. The Home dashboard shows Stocksy App Embed is active.
  2. The widget status is On on the Widgets page.
  3. You clicked Add to theme and saved in the theme editor.
  4. For Back in stock, the product is out of stock.
  5. For Coming soon, the product is on the Coming soon products list and inventory is 0.
If App Embed is off, shoppers cannot subscribe even if widgets and emails are configured.
Stocksy uses a theme App Embed, so it works with Online Store 2.0 themes that support app embeds. After you enable the embed and add the widget to the theme, save your theme and check a product page.
No. Enable the App Embed, then use Add to theme and Customize in the Stocksy app.

Widgets

Coming soon waitlist lets shoppers join a waitlist for launch products. It is not included on the Free plan. Upgrade to Starter, Growth, or Pro to unlock it.See Coming soon waitlist widget and Pricing & plans.
First add the product on the Products tab. Then:
  • Inventory is 0 — the widget shows on that product page
  • The product is in stock — the widget is hidden on the storefront
When stock returns, waitlist shoppers are notified and the product is removed from the Coming soon products list.
No. Only products you add on the Coming soon Products tab can show that widget.
